Job Title: Part Time Legal Administrator/Clerk - supporting a Litigation Team Location: Dublin 2 Salary: €40K pro rata Hours: 20 hours per week (5 mornings or 2.5 days) Our client, a professional company is seeking to hire a part-time Legal Administrator/Clerk to support their Litigation team.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organised and have a background working in a busy and past faced legal office, banking or heavy compliance focused office environment.
The successful candidate will involve supporting a range of tasks to include assisting with legal costs applications, supporting legal proceedings, file management, preparing cost-related documents, liaising with legal and medical professionals, issuing court pleadings, and handling sensitive data under tight deadlines.
Essential Skills & Experience: Experience in a legal or allied environment with proficiency using various legal and administrative systems Understanding of legal terminology and court processes is desirable Ability to manage communications related to court processes.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with litigation software systems, an advantage Key Role: Preparing, reviewing, and analysing legal documents, bills, and cost schedules.
Assisting in the preparation of calculations.
Maintaining and updating case files and records accurately.
Supporting the team in managing deadlines ensuring compliance with relevant workflows.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the department.
