You will play a key role in defining future‑state architecture, driving high‑quality technical delivery, and enabling the adoption of modern development, deployment, and Agile practices across enterprise systems.Your ResponsibilitiesAnalyse existing application architecture and define future‑state technical solutions aligned with business goalsTranslate business and technical requirements into clear solution designs and accurate effort estimationsPerform impact analysis for application enhancements and system changesDesign and propose scalable architectural and technical solutions with clear implementation approachesLead the team and govern code reviews to ensure compliance with quality, performance, and security standardsOwn end‑to‑end technical delivery including build, deployment, and release activitiesManage source code versioning and maintain high standards of code quality and maintainabilityApply and promote Agile practices throughout the delivery lifecycleMentor and guide team members through complex technical challengesYour ProfileBack‑End Development (Java / Spring / Oracle)Strong hands‑on experience in Java with Spring MVC and exposure to Spring BootSolid expertise in Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance optimisationExperience with Hibernate / JPA for object‑relational mappingHands‑on experience with Open Liberty for application deployment and runtime managementDesign and consumption of RESTful APIsProficiency in build and dependency management using Maven / GradleExperience with JUnit / Mockito for unit and integration testingHands‑on usage of GitHub for source code version controlBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using tools such as JenkinsWorking knowledge of JSON and XML for data exchangeFront‑End Development (React & Web Components)Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScriptHands‑on experience with the React framework, including components, modules, and servicesKnowledge of Web Components, including Custom Elements and Shadow DOMSolid understanding of HTML and CSS for building maintainable user interfacesExperience with responsive design, using frameworks such as BootstrapFamiliarity with Node.js / NPM for dependency and package managementUnderstanding of Webpack or similar build and bundling toolsExperience integrating front‑end applications with RESTful APIsFamiliarity with front‑end unit testing frameworks and practicesStrong awareness of accessibility standards (WAI‑ARIA) and inclusive design principlesDesirable skills / knowledge / experienceFull‑stack exposure with experience across both back‑end and front‑end technologiesWorking knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern UI development practicesAwareness of accessibility standards (WAI‑ARIA) and inclusive design principlesStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills across complex application landscapesUnderstanding of application security best practices, monitoring, and loggingRewards & BenefitsTCS offers competitive salary packages featuring a pension, health care, life assurance, laptop and access to extensive training resources and discounts within the larger Tata network.
