We are partnering with a long-established, multi-site Irish business to recruit aSenior HR Administratorfor their Galway headquarters.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a progressive and supportive HR team, contributing to the delivery of efficient and compliant HR operations across several divisions, including retail, distribution, and franchise brands.The RoleThe Senior HR Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee data, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation. You will work closely with HR Business Partners and managers to deliver a consistent and high-quality HR service across all business units.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Records & HR SystemsMaintain and update the HR information system, ensuring accuracy of all employee records and documentation.Support data integrity, reporting, and compliance requirements across multiple business areas.Reporting & AnalyticsProduce regular and ad-hoc reports for management on employee turnover, absence, training compliance, and other HR metrics.Support the HR team with analytical insights to inform operational decisions.Recruitment & OnboardingSupport the full recruitment process, including advertising roles, forwarding applications, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communication.Prepare offer letters and contracts, complete pre-employment checks, and ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.Employee Relations & AdministrationAct as a first point of contact for general employee queries, escalating to HR Partners as appropriate.Administer employee lifecycle changes including promotions, transfers, and contract amendments.Manage offboarding processes, ensuring system updates, final entitlements, and return of company property.HR Projects & InitiativesProvide administrative support for HR initiatives such as performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement.Assist with the integration of new retail sites and employees, ensuring consistent HR processes and documentation.About YouMinimum of 3 years' HR experience in a busy, multi-site or multi-division environment.Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with HR systems (ideally One Advanced, Recruitee, Power BI or similar).Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.Professional, discreet, and approachable with a strong team ethic.Why Apply?Join a large, well-established Irish organisation with a strong HR presence and room for progression.Gain exposure to diverse HR operations across retail, logistics, and franchise environments.Be part of a supportive HR team that values collaboration, integrity, and professional growth.Apply today if you are interested or email (email protected) with an updated CV for more info
