About the Business
A fast-growing fresh produce business supplying high-quality produce across Ireland and international markets. The company works with growers and supply partners across multiple countries and prides itself on strong customer relationships, product quality, and market responsiveness.
As the business continues to grow, we are now looking to hire a commercially driven Account Manager who can help expand relationships, identify opportunities, and drive profitable sales growth.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional account management role.
We are looking for someone commercially sharp, energetic, and naturally entrepreneurial — someone who understands how to identify commercial opportunities, negotiate effectively, maximise margins, and build strong relationships across the market.
The role could suit:
An ambitious graduate with strong commercial instincts and personality
Someone currently working in fresh produce trading, procurement, sales support, or account management or FMCG
A more experienced commercial professional looking for a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop customer accounts across retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels
Identify opportunities to increase margin and sales performance
Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams
Build strong commercial relationships with customers and suppliers
Negotiate pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements
Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity
Seek out new business opportunities and growth areas
Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Represent the company professionally in meetings and customer interactions
What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to think quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
Fresh produce, FMCG, food trading, or wholesale experience is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and customer focus
Professional presentation and attitude
Full driving licence preferred
