Job Title: Finance & Payroll Assistant Location: Hybrid working, 3 days in the Limerick city office Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed-Term Contract Job Summary Due to the continued development of the organisation; We are currently seeking a Finance & Payroll Assistant to join our team. We are looking for candidates who want to develop their career and have strong organisational and communication skills. The Finance & Payroll Assistant will report to the Head of Finance and will work closely with the other members of the Finance & Payroll team. Duties and Responsibilities: To Assist the finance & payroll team in the following duties: Processing of the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for the UniJobs Temporary Agency staff. Providing support to agency staff re: payroll queries. Recording transactions in the accounting system. Accounts Payable. Accounts Receivable. Bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations. Administration and processing of supplier payment runs. Ad hoc duties as required by the finance & payroll team and general accounts administration. Experience and Qualifications: Qualified accounting technician or IPASS Certificate or relevant 3rd level qualification or similar. Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role. Proficient in MS Office and accountancy software packages Excellent attention to detail. The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. A keen interest in learning and in career progression.
