We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unit Chef/Manager to lead our Canteen operations and oversee the day-to-day running of our catering unit. The ideal candidate will combine strong culinary expertise with leadership and management skills to ensure high standard of food quality, safety and service.
Key responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and present high quality meals in line with company standards.
*Manage stock levels, ordering and cost control to meet budget targets. Being proficient with online ordering and use of Excel.
*Maintain excellent customer service and relations with in the school.
*Ensure compliance with all food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Chef Manager or similar role.
*Strong understanding of canteen management, budgeting and food safety standards (HACCP)
*Excellent organisational, communication, and people management skills.
