Business Development Manager
The primary responsibility of this role is to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers in the Grocery, convenience and wholesale markets. This includes delivering sales growth plans that enhance the brand in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a customer base to achieve sales targets by providing exceptional service and driving business growth.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through the acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing ones.
Sales Performance
* Deliver strong year-on-year sales growth through effective sales strategies and tactics.
* Continuously identify and capture incremental sales opportunities within assigned territories.
Merchandising Expertise
* Ensure a consistent range of products is available at all times to meet customer needs.
* Develop and implement seasonal display solutions to drive additional sales.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG sales, excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as strong communication and negotiation abilities. A valid driving license and ability to build internal and external relationships are also essential.
