Key Role in Product Development
Brightflag is a market leader with an AI-first product that has gained significant customer traction, leading to rapid growth. As we scale our operations, we are looking for exceptional individuals to join our Product and Engineering team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a small team of backend engineers within a scrum team, guiding their growth through regular feedback and coaching. You will also be responsible for hands-on architecture and feature delivery while setting direction, elevating standards, and ensuring timely deployment.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Java programming experience, prior leadership experience in managing engineers, strong collaboration skills, adaptability with a growth mindset. Experience working with the Spring Framework and web applications exposing REST APIs & RESTful web services is highly valued.
