We're growing fast - and we're looking for a
Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist
to help us keep our global supplier network performing to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll take ownership of supplier quality management across the business - ensuring that every material, component, and service we use meets strict regulatory and performance standards.
You'll work cross-functionally with
Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs
, acting as the key link between our suppliers and internal teams.
Your work will directly protect product quality, improve efficiency, and strengthen Life Scientific's sustainability commitments.
You will:
* Lead supplier qualification, audits, and risk assessments in line with industry standards
* Manage the
Approved Supplier List (ASL)
and supplier quality agreements
* Track and improve supplier performance (defect rates, CAPA closure, delivery, audit outcomes)
* Drive continuous improvement using
Lean / Six Sigma
methods
* Promote
EcoVadis
engagement across our supplier base
* Support
new product introductions (NPI)
and ensure supplier readiness
* Partner with suppliers to strengthen quality systems and process capability
What we're looking for
You're a detail-driven, solutions-focused quality professional who thrives on collaboration and improvement. You can balance compliance with pragmatism and are skilled at influencing both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You'll bring:
* A degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
* 3–7 years' experience in
Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Auditing
(regulated industry experience ideal)
* Strong understanding of
QMS
, CAPA, and supplier qualification processes
* Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis)
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
* The ability to travel occasionally (approx. 10–40%)
Bonus points for:
* Lead Auditor certification
* ASQ CQE / CQA / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
* Experience in the
crop protection, agri-chemical, or life sciences
industry
* Familiarity with
EcoVadis
or supplier sustainability programs
