Senior Production Planner
My client is seeking to hire a Senior Production Planner to join their team in Dublin. Your responsibilities include driving the production plan, schedule work and resources across the company, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Planning and Processing, Commercial, Finance, and Product), and work closely with outsourced services. You will lead the the Production Plan process and identify business requirements for goods, materials and services.
Your deep understanding of the business landscape and partnership with stakeholders will allow you to identify challenges, both internal and external, and proactively anticipate impacts on production and supply. Your leadership will extend to establishing economic solutions and providing strategic recommendations to management.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align assumptions and define actionable steps to bridge any gaps.
* Continuously enhance forecasting parameters, master data, and models.
* Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, bias, order lead time adherence, run rates and OTIF.
* Support execution of demand and supply chain decision making in the short term
* Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory
* Lead initiatives to enhance our planning capabilities and strengthen demand signals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive demand planning improvements.
* Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise.
* Produce reports based on findings and performance of production
* Manage deadlines based on CS & NPI expectations
* Develop robust analytics and ensure clear communication to facilitate decision-making.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree from an accredited university or college
* At least 4 years of experience in production planning
* Experience in managing a team

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and lead in a high-pressure environment.
* Familiarity with supply chain management concepts.
* Working knowledge of planning processes and systems.
