About DECI

DECI Ltd is a growing engineering and commissioning services company working across data centre and mission-critical projects throughout Europe and the Middle East. Known for our adaptability, integrity, and long-term project commitment, we're proud to deliver high-quality, hands-on support to some of the most complex infrastructure builds in the region.

The Role

We are seeking a capable and ambitious accountant or experienced bookkeeper to join our finance team, based out of our Naas office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the CFO, supporting the financial operations of our engineering arm. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial processes, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and payable, invoice and purchase order management, reconciliation, banking, and financial analysis.

This is a hands-on role for someone with an eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and the drive to grow. You will have visibility across the business and contribute directly to decisions that shape financial controls and reporting structures as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

* Take ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles, ensuring timely and accurate processing
* Prepare and issue sales invoices and manage incoming purchase orders
* Oversee banking activities, including payment runs, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking
* Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process, working closely with the CFO to ensure deadlines are met
* Perform ongoing account reconciliations and maintain up-to-date records across all finance systems
* Support the development of internal controls, reports, and analytical tools
* Engage with project managers and suppliers to resolve invoice or PO discrepancies
* Help prepare reports for management review, including project cost analysis, expense tracking, and budget comparisons
* Contribute to the continued development and efficiency of finance operations as we scale

Requirements

* Qualified or Part-qualified in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or a similar recognised accounting body, or qualified by experience in a hands-on finance role
* 4+ years of experience in a finance or bookkeeping position, preferably within a project-driven or engineering-related environment
* Proven ability to manage AR/AP functions, reconciliations, and ledger entries
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and proficient in Excel and accounting platforms
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A genuine interest in building a long-term career in finance within a growing company

What We Offer

* A collaborative, growth-focused environment where your work is valued
* Direct mentorship and training from our CFO, with real scope for development
* Exposure to the commercial side of an engineering business
* Opportunity to grow into a more senior finance role as the business scales
* Competitive salary package and flexibility where possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per year

Benefits:

* Company events
* Free or subsidised travel
* On-site parking
* Sick pay
