These may include assessment, review, support, advice, counselling and advocacy services and information giving and facilitation groups and courses for service users and parents.Work in partnership with families and service users in provision of a range of social work servicesFacilitate group based interventions for parents, carers and service-usersAct as a key contact and organize IFSPTo attend on behalf of St Joseph's Foundation, relevant Tusla, child in care reviews and child protection case conferencesTo plan and provide an effective social work service in keeping with the code of professional practice of the social work profession and in keeping with the agreed objectives of the CDNT.Provide training to parents, staff, teachers, volunteers and students within the CDNT as requiredAccountable for ensuring that professional work is in accordance with accepted good practice and is of high quality and standardAccountable for following St Joseph's Foundation's Child Safeguarding statement and act as the mandated person.Taking responsibility for case work as considered necessary and prioritizing needs as part of the CDNTAttending family meetings, team meetings, external meeting, etc decided upon by the CDNMResponsible for keeping up to date with social work practices, government publications and any other documents relevant to social work practices of St. Joseph's FoundationAccountable for maintaining records and reports in line with best practice and St. Josephs Foundation PolicyLiaise with statutory and other voluntary agencies on individual cases or on group issues in collaboration with the CDNM or Principle Social WorkerPrepare and provide reports for / at team meetings, family meetings, etc as requiredWork with the CDNM in policy formation, development and coordination of service developmentResponsible for implementing approved policy within the remitParticipate in the evaluation of the service and research initiativesWith the Team, maintain statistical records or other relevant reports as requiredTo monitor and keep up-to-date with developments in Social Work, including attending training courses and participating in research.To take responsibility for contributing to policy development within the service area.To develop and maintain good working relationships with personnel from the Health Service Executive, Tusla and other agencies so as to promote a seamless service to families.To maintain quality standards and participate in quality developments.To work as a team member as part of the Children's Disability Network Teams and collaborate with other members in the best interests of the child/familyAccount and/or Principle Social WorkerPromote awareness of social work issues and understanding of implications for the team and familiesUse social work skills and experiences in contributing to Team working and developmentAccountable for providing Social Work supports in accordance with St Joseph's Foundation Policies and ProceduresMaintain and records on EPIC in a timely and professional mannerEnsure the maintenance of the service user and Data confidentiality and in accordance with Data Protection PolicyTo attend Mandatory training and any other training as recommended by the CDNT & Principal Social WorkerSection 39 pay scalesClosing Date 15th October 2025
