Our client, a reputable Construction & Engineering firm in Dublin, is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The role offers a very competitive salary, benefits and significant career progression.The Role:Participate in month-end close processes and the preparation and management of financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets, across multiple entities and jurisdictions.Ensured timely and accurate reconciliation of company balance sheets, including intercompany transactions.Maintain the integrity of bank reconciliations, managed payroll preparation, and monitored cash flow to support financial stability.Accountable for reconciling and reporting key Profit & Loss costs by business stream, with regular monthly reviews alongside budget holders.Drove continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and strengthen internal controls.Supported the annual budgeting process through data preparation, analysis, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Requirements:Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 3+ years PQE in a similar roleThe ability to interact and communicate effectively with management and other departments in the organisation will be important to the role.Strong commercial awareness and good business acumen.Ensure accurate completion and punctual submission of reports and information as requested, based on numerical analysis and other relevant methodologies.Build effective relationships within the business and with external parties as requiredExcellent communications skills, interacting confidently with othersThe ability to multi-task is critical to carrying out the rolePlease click the link below to apply, call Ray Brennan on 0830528677 or alternatively send an up to date CV to ray.brennan@peglobal.net***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in Ireland***
