Laois Hire is a leading plant and tool hire company in Ireland that provide a comprehensive range of services from tool and plant machinery to highly specialised equipment. We have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Mobile Generator Fitter to join our team in Portlaoise.
In this role you will be:
* Performingservicing and repairs on rental equipment both on-site and at the depot.
* Preparingmachinery and equipment for hire, ensuring operational readiness.
* Diagnosingand repairing mechanical and electrical faults on generators and pumps.
* Conductingtesting on generators to verify performance and reliability.
* Support depot operations by providing technical expertise and engineering assistance.
What will help you to excel in this role:
* Relevant technical qualification
* Previous experience working on generators and pumps.
* Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
* The ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Good communication skills
