Team/Role Overview
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function within Independent Risk Management oversees the implementation of Citi's ERM Framework and manages enterprise-level risk programs.
This role involves designing and implementing data infrastructure, supporting risk reporting, and strengthening data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead data governance policy alignment and data strategy execution, focusing on BCBS-239 reports.
* Collaborate with data consumers to define requirements and data quality standards.
* Analyze data lineage and support documentation and process mapping.
* Maintain data capabilities like metadata repositories and data dictionaries.
* Partner with data owners to improve data quality and understanding of data assets.
* Identify data quality issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* Manage change processes related to data governance and documentation.
* Streamline data transformation initiatives and capabilities.
* Advise regional teams and business units, presenting updates and solutions.
* Lead meetings to address issues, risks, and challenges.
* Support operational needs and document data requirements using Agile methodologies.
* Innovate data flow solutions based on current business needs.
* Address barriers to project delivery, communicate risks, and develop mitigation plans.
* Manage project milestones, deliverables, and activities.
* Support communication efforts for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in Banking or Finance, with risk expertise.
* Proven leadership in large-scale, data-intensive projects.
* Self-motivated, capable of working independently and remotely.
* Strong business analysis and data analysis skills, with knowledge of data governance.
* Effective communicator, collaborator, and negotiator.
* Ability to understand the big picture and pay attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Citi's Data Governance policies is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
