From initial consultation to drawdown, you will provide clear guidance, expert advice and ongoing support, ensuring a smooth and positive experience at every stage.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with customers to understand their financial situation, goals and preferencesAssess customer eligibility by reviewing financial information and mortgage requirementsProvide tailored mortgage advice aligned to each customer's needsGather all relevant documentation and prepare detailed credit assessmentsSubmit credit applications directly to underwriters and manage the process through to approvalMaintain regular communication with customers and underwriters, addressing queries and clarificationsSupport customers with related protection needs by introducing house insurance and mortgage protection solutionsAssist customers once a property has been identified, including securing a Letter of OfferManage the mortgage process through to successful drawdown following contract completionBuild strong, long term relationships with customers by delivering a consistently high level of serviceDevelop and grow a local referral network within the Malahide areaEnsure full compliance with all regulatory and internal policies, including the Consumer Protection Code and Central Bank guidelinesFrom time to time, assist with additional customer services such as account opening or cash related activitiesSkills and ExperienceQFA qualification is desirable, with APA in Loans and Savings and Investments as the minimum requirementA minimum of two years' experience working as a Mortgage Advisor is essentialStrong attention to detail with the ability to assess financial documentation accuratelyA customer first mindset with a genuine interest in helping people achieve their homeownership goalsStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidentlyA collaborative team player who takes pride in being a trusted mortgage expertComfortable using mortgage systems, calculators and supporting technologyWhy JoinThis role offers the opportunity to be the dedicated mortgage expert for your customers from start to finish, in an organisation that genuinely values relationships, professionalism and customer outcomes.
