MedGen Healthcare Ireland is currently hiring Healthcare Assistants for multiple positions across Meath and the surrounding counties. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team in providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support nursing staff in delivering quality care to residents
* Build meaningful relationships with residents by providing support and companionship
* Assist residents with personal hygiene and maintaining their appearance while respecting their dignity
* Help plan and participate in social and recreational activities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the care environment
* Promote a safe and healthy living environment in line with Health and Safety standards
* Perform additional duties as required by the Nurse in Charge or management
Candidate Requirements:
* QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare (or equivalent) completed or in progress, (Mandatory modules care skills/support and care of the older person)
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid right to work in the Republic of Ireland ( non sponsorship role)
* Fluent in spoken and written English
