Job Overview
The role of Microbiology Manager is a key position within the QC Microbiology Laboratory, responsible for leading a team of analysts and overseeing the implementation of quality control measures. The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, with at least 5 years' experience in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for QC Microbiology Identification testing and Clean Utility Monitoring
* Provide support testing to the Environmental Monitoring and Product Testing groups within the QC Microbiology Laboratory
* Maintain compliance with cGLP regulations and ensure adherence to all relevant standards and guidelines
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in microbiology, preferably in a laboratory setting
2. Demonstrated leadership skills, including management and motivation of teams
3. Prior experience as an existing manager or supervisor would be advantageous but not essential for this role
