Mission
Provide support to the production team to ensure consistent achievement of OEE and TLR targets.
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Adhere to Valeo safe‑working requirements, including PPE, LOTO, emergency response procedures, and safe equipment maintenance.
Support production so that OEE and TLR targets are consistently met.
Respond to unscheduled downtime or defective‑product situations promptly:
Specifying, documenting, and communicating problems clearly (5W2H).
Implementing effective containment and returning processes to good‑parts production.
Adhering to Line QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) standards.
Applying escalation procedures and establishing root causes using logical thinking and equipment schematics.
Correcting problems and following up with permanent corrective actions.
Log all equipment downtime and generate reports each shift.
Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) processes.
Document and communicate all spare parts consumed; highlight any related issues.
Work with spare‑parts technicians to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and consolidate suppliers.
Ensure relevant information is shared effectively across all shifts and required groups.
Ensure effective shift handovers at the start and end of each shift.
Complete preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule, update records, and ensure necessary spares and consumables are in stock.
Adhere to 5S requirements in production and technician work areas.
Provide feedback on equipment performance to relevant engineers.
Support initiatives to improve process and equipment performance, and to reduce setup and changeover times.
Provide training to other technicians.
Maintain flexibility to adjust duties as requested by the company.
Education
Certificate or diploma in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). Additional training will be provided on the job.
Training
Agilent i5000 ICT platform
GPIB, RS232 and PCIO interfaces
C++, Windows, UNIX programming
Knowledge of automotive protocols (K‑Line, CAN, and LIN)
SMT
Deprag auto screw‑insertion
Knowledge of pneumatic control systems
Experience with automotive‑electronics manufacturing standards
Professional Experience
2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics industry.
Working knowledge of both in‑circuit and functional testing.
Strong background in PC‑based testing (software, hardware installation).
