Our leading Financial Services client is looking for a Database Developer to join their team. The role requires a high level of technical expertise in Oracle or SQL databases, as well as coding skills in Python. This is a daily rate contract role offering excellent daily rates. Key responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain databases in Oracle and SQL environments. Administer databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security. Write and optimize SQL statements for data extraction and reporting. Develop scripts in Python to automate routine database tasks and to integrate databases with other applications. Conduct database troubleshooting and performance tuning. Work closely with other developers and project managers to meet technical requirements. Ensure compliance with data standards and policies. Essential Experience: Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role. Strong experience in database administration, particularly with Oracle or SQL Server. Python Git/ Bitbucket Educational Requirements: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
