Your New Role
You will act as 'second-in-command' to the Head of Finance within a small finance function. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the month-end process, producing management accounts, cashflow forecasts, budgeting, financial analysis of costs and variances etc.
You will also be responsible for all financial reporting of a smaller international entity. Additionally, you will gain management exposure as you will be tasked with coordinating AP and AR functions in due time.
As the company continues to grow, you will be given other ad-hoc duties across the business from an operational and commercial point of view.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with at least 2-3 years post-qualified experience preferably in a similar industry.
You will have exposure to producing month-end management accounts in a fast-paced SME environment and will have excellent financial reporting skills.
You must also be an effective team player as well as retaining the ability to work autonomously.
Strong communication skills are a must as you will be required to play a central role in the organisation with many stakeholders outside of the finance function.
