DENTAL HYGIENIST (Maternity Cover )We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dental Hygienist (Maternity Cover Commence Jan to join our busy dental practice in our modern and well-established practice in Santry Dublin 9.If you would like to be a part of a supportive and friendly team, please submit your application CV.Clinical dutiesProvide advice and treatments in accordance with the Dental Regulations and the IDC guidance.Carry out treatment according to the dentist's written prescription.Treat patients according to the practice appointment scheduling systemKeep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy, and sterile as appropriate according to the practice's health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers' instruction.Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order.Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed.Ensure the welfare of all patients.Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal etc.Administration and otherEnsure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery.Advise practice manager of low stock supplies as necessary.Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records.Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice (perhaps including the duties and tasks of dental nurse or receptionist in exceptional circumstances)Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities.Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR.Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conductJob Type: Specified-purposeContract length: 6 monthsPay: €35.00-€45.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:Santry D09V2P8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
