Forensic Accounting Manager Job Description
The role of Forensic Accounting Manager involves leading a portfolio of investigation and dispute cases, supporting the development of case strategies and work plans, and gathering and critically assessing evidence. The successful candidate will also be responsible for forensically analysing financial information and other relevant evidence, preparing high-quality written reports, and maintaining detailed workpapers and well-organised evidence and case files.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a diverse range of assignments involving forensic accounting, fraud and conduct investigations and disputes.
* Supporting the development of case strategies and work plans for various complex matters.
* Gathering and critically assessing evidence; liaising with third parties as needed.
* Forensically analysing financial information and other relevant evidence.
* Preparing high quality written reports and output for formal uses, including legal proceedings.
* Maintaining detailed workpapers and well-organised evidence and case files.
Requirements:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 2-3 years PQE.
* Experience in forensic accounting and investigation - ideally 2+ years.
* Demonstrate the capacity to analyse and assimilate large volumes of complex material and quickly identify key issues.
* Experience in managing a team while simultaneously delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client-base.
* Excellent report writing skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to foster trusted relationships with our clients and intermediaries, combined with strong commercial acumen and expertise.
* A good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and approach to work, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
