We're currently recruiting Trainee Accountants to join our Blackpool team, with great opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Preparing corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns;
2. Preparing and processing Payroll;
3. Liaising with banks, legal firms, Revenue and other professional advisers;
4. Managing client Company Secretarial requirements;
5. Work under the supervision of senior staff members and provide support;
6. Preparing VAT returns;
7. Preparing management accounts;
8. Attending client premises;
9. Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing with external clients, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence.
10. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
11. Participate in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client.
12. Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.
13. Deliver the Xeinadin vision and values.
Key Requirements
Ideal candidates will:
1. Expect to achieve at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a business related degree;
2. Have obtained 420+ points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent);
3. Be motivated and able to work both as part of a team and independently;
4. Possess strong communication and English language skills;
5. Be enthusiastic about both developing their career;
6. Endeavour to continually improve their skills and knowledge.
