We’re partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to hire a Senior Automation Tester for a 6-month daily rate contract (with strong extension potential).
This is a high-impact role for someone who brings an automation‑first mindset and thrives in complex, large-scale delivery environments.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in shaping automation strategy while remaining hands‑on across delivery.
You will:
Support the Test Manager with governance and quality processes
Define and implement automation frameworks (UI & API)
Work across automation and functional testing teams
Allocate work, track milestones, and drive delivery
Report progress, risks, and escape issues when needed
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business
Step in with test scripting and execution during peak demand
What You’ll Bring
4+ years as a Senior Automation Tester in enterprise environments
Strong experience building UI & API automation frameworks
4+ years in C# or Java
3+ years testing REST APIs
Experience with BDD / ATDD (incl. mocking & contract testing)
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience using Git & GitHub Actions
Solid understanding of SDLC (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)
Nice to Have
ISTQB or QA certifications
Experience across ERP, CRM, eCommerce, SAP, mobile apps
