We are recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join our Clients expanding team based in Tipperary.
The Foreman will supervise and coordinate civil engineering works on-site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily site activities and workforce, including subcontractors and direct labour.Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.Coordinate plant, materials, and equipment requirements.Maintain accurate site records (daily diaries, timesheets, permits, etc.).
Report progress, issues, and risks to the Site Manager/Project Manager.Ensure adherence to method statements and risk assessments.Liaise with engineers, surveyors, and management to resolve technical/site issues.Drive productivity and maintain good working relationships with the team.ExperienceProven experience in civil engineering construction (e.g., groundworks, drainage, roads, concrete structures).
Experience in Pre-Cast an advantageStrong leadership and supervisory skills.Good knowledge of construction health & safety regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Effective communication and organisational skills.Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
