We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Kilkenny. The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to Adults and Older Adults, consisting of physical, sensory, and cognitive assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to Adults and Older Adults
* Devise and carry out appropriate assessments, e.g., seating, hoist & slings, functional and meaningful activities of daily living
* Assist individuals in becoming independent following physical, social, emotional, and mental-health difficulties
* Work with other Healthcare Professionals, such as Nurses, Social Workers, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, etc.
* Liaise with patients' families and other relevant agencies
Requirements:
* AOTI and CORU Registration
* A broad range of under-graduate clinical experience with Elderly care being desirable but not essential
* Strong written and verbal skills
* Will require own transport, clean drivers license, use of a car and a Smart Phone
