Job Description:
Description
At Bank of America, we’re guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better by connecting clients and communities to the resources they need to be successful. Join our industry-leading wealth management team at Bank of America and Merrill to make a difference where it counts. We seek the next generation of financial advisors—those passionate about people and driven to improve clients’ financial lives. You will advise clients on achieving their financial goals and support them with personal investing tools and resources.
This position requires SAFE Act registration. All employees involved in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will need to register and undergo the SAFE Act background check. Failure to maintain registration may lead to termination.
As an Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I), you will begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated study time for the Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. After licensing, you will learn foundational skills to be an advisor—building client relationships, understanding complex financial situations, and guiding clients with advice and solutions. You will start working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions, supported by comprehensive training.
Successful completion as a licensed ADP FSA I allows progression to Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA), where you will build a portfolio of affluent clients. Further advancement can lead to becoming a core Merrill Financial Advisor. The program offers ongoing support, tools, and resources throughout your career.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including the background check and registration process. Failure to comply may result in termination.

* Adaptable learner seeking solutions for clients.
* Effective time and capacity management.
* Thorough, incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily tasks and strategies.
Desired skills:
* Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
* Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years’ experience in financial services or sales.
* Experience in assessing client needs, recommending solutions, and managing relationships.
