Real Estate Surveyor Role

We are currently recruiting for a Surveyor in our Real Estate team to support Directors and Managing Directors with analytical work and project management. Our clients include Banks, alternate finance providers, public sector clients, and private sector clients on various development, investment, and asset management projects globally.
The role will involve preparing Valuation Reports for Clients for Loan Security, Internal, Corporate, and Tax purposes. This includes valuations for development, investment, and valuation advisory across different property asset classes. You will perform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research and have a strong knowledge of regulatory, financial information, and complex strategic issues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing Valuation Reports for Clients
- Performing in-depth industry, market, and competitor research
- Conducting local, national, and international real estate market analysis on various entities using accepted approaches and theory
- Gathering data through direct client interaction, including interviews with Brokers and Property Managers
- Reviewing industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends
- Assisting with presenting results in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Management (with a focus on Real Estate)
- Minimum 4-6 years of real estate experience (including 3 years of valuation experience) ideally with an internationally recognized estate agency
- SCSI/RICS Qualified or advanced stage of APC process
- Previous experience or educational background in real estate industry
- Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to master new tasks quickly
- Demonstrated leadership experience and personal integrity
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
- High-quality report writing skills with excellent numerical reasoning and financial appraisal technique
- High level technical aptitude – good with technology, including Microsoft Office, and experience with Argus and/or KEL appraisal software
