QC Analyst (CLS Career Accelerator Program)
We are now offering graduates the opportunity to launch their careers as QA Analysts through our structured Career Accelerator Programme.
This is a full-time, permanent role from your first day of training, combining hands-on experience in both QC Labs and QA Program.
You will begin training in our accredited Galway laboratories as well as the QA Program before progressing to client sites, gaining real-world experience in regulated environments.
What's Important
Gaining practical laboratory training across both microbiology and chemistry disciplines.
Build knowledge of the running of a QC Lab environment before moving over to the structured QA Program, learning methods and skills such as auditing, investigation, review, risk management, aseptic processing etc.
Building a strong foundation in GMP-regulated environments.
Developing applied scientific knowledge through CLS' proprietary training programmes.
Growing technical, professional, and leadership skills.
Progressing into a specialised career pathway within CLS or client organisations.
The Role
Duties and responsibilities may vary between clients but generally, the role will involve monitoring and evaluating operational processes and outputs to ensure they meet established quality standards, and analysing data, conducting audits and working closely with various teams to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in CLS' structured Career Accelerator Programme (outlined below).
Receive initial training on how to perform QC testing across microbiology and analytical chemistry techniques before moving across to the QA Program, to begin your career in Quality Assurance.
Receive training on QA Modules and develop skills such as investigation, auditing, risk management, review of documentation, regulatory compliance etc.
Use LIMS for data management and reporting.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and all other standards.
Collaborate effectively within a team while also working independently.
Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in product and process quality.
Perform regular quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance.
Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Analyse test results and produce comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommending actionable improvements.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for quality testing and assurance activities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes.

Prior to starting in the QA Program, analyst will be taken through a structured QC Program (Microbiology or Chemistry).
During this time, analyst will learn the workings of a QC Commercial lab, to aid their learning and understanding of the environment before embarking on a career in Quality Assurance.
Microbiology/ Chemistry: Initial training only
Water Testing (USP & EP: potable, surface, WFI)

Where You Come From
A third level qualification in a related Science discipline.
Basic knowledge of regulatory bodies and compliance to regulations.
Demonstrated experience in a QC/ QA environment (internship/work placement is sufficient).
