Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team on pharmaceutical projects. The successful candidate will have experience in supporting the delivery of mechanical systems, from design through installation.

The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers, review IFC drawings, manage submittals and track progress. They will also oversee site works, QA and project documentation, while driving project deadlines, procurement and installation schedules.

* Mechanical engineering experience: We require candidates with experience in pipework, process contracting or similar field.
* Strong coordination and communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
* Comfortable with technical drawings: Familiarity with BIM tools and project workflows is necessary.

Requirements:

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Desirable: Experience working on pharmaceutical projects.

About the Role: This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility to go permanent. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Ideally, we are looking for someone local.
