We are looking for a Full-time Technician to join our team in Sligo.
Working pattern : Monday-Thursday ********:30 and Friday from ********** Main duties and responsibilities: Establish with the engineering team leader the department goals, schedules and timetables for activities.
Maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Supporting external, Division and Corporate audits.
In conjunction with calibration coordinator ensure compliance with calibration requirements.
Completion of PM on utility and environmental monitoring equipment.
Cross train within manufacturing engineering plant support engineers.
Ensure safety standards are met, and safe working practices adhered to.
Liaise with other site Engineering departments as required.
Adhering to all relevant policies relating to Quality Safety.
Supervise external contractors.
Adheres to and supports all Health and safety standards, procedures and policies.
Seeks Managers input when making major decisions which effect the area Adheres to and follows all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and IMB/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Adherence to the MEP (Maintenance Excellence Programme) is required Qualifications and experience A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant industry or equivalent position Functional knowledge required of wide range of Utilities equipment is preferred.
Example of some of the equipment: Boilers, Chillers, Compressor, Thermal Oxidizer, Pumps, Motors, Purified water systems, Air Handling Units.
Strong IT knowledge is required.
Strong trouble shooting and documentation skills High level of attention to detail and mental concentration Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new regulatory requirements.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills are required.
