We are recruiting dynamic and enthusiastic individuals for the role of Assistant Manager at our Newbridge store. Our Assistant Managers are motivated, approachable, and thrive in the electrical retail industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join and develop a team.
A ‘Fully Charged’ Assistant Manager will:
* Be fully responsible for running the store in the manager's absence and act as the first point of contact.
* Handle store opening & closing responsibilities and assist with day-to-day management.
* Work closely with the Store Manager and Senior Support Management to build and develop a first-class sales team.
* Jointly manage sales and stock operations with attention to detail.
* Encourage, engage, and energize team performance through daily meetings and action plans for sales, customer service, and staff training.
* Motivate the team to reach sales targets and maximize KPIs, using performance management, coaching, and delegation.
* Assist with staff recruitment, inductions, and training.
* Provide a superior customer experience by matching customer needs through product demonstrations and closing sales.
* Maintain excellent merchandising, organize promotions & sales events, and create attractive store displays.
* Be a brand ambassador with ongoing training to develop product knowledge and stay informed about new tech brands and kitchen appliances.
* Enhance the customer journey by building trust and loyalty.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to improve store performance.
* Perform other duties as required.
