OverviewThis role is part of the PepsiCo Global Ingredients Insights team based in Cork (Ireland) and will be responsible for leveraging marketplace curiosity to guide breakthrough Ingredients related platforms.The vision of the role is twofold: deliver world class ingredient insights, becoming PEP's consumer insights COE for beverage and snack ingredients supporting PepsiCo's vision for growth (Innovation), & PGCS transformation (reformulation) agenda.The role requires management of internal alignment, design and execution of insight-led learning plans to drive human-centric empathy and understanding with an Ingredients focus. This role is a crucial first step in facilitating early beverages platforms assessment and prototyping workstreams that support a culture of experimentation and consumer centricity across the organization.In this role it will be critical to expand influence across a network of extended R&D, International Beverages stakeholders, LATAM Foods and overall Insights function & brand marketing partners.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the R&D / Insights / Marketing leads to understand their challenges to help them (through Ingredients Insights research) fuel the portfolio pipeline with advantaged consumer insights. Build strong, two-way relationships with stakeholders, ensuring a truly collaborative approach to foundational insights, innovation, analytics and tracking.Build sharp and interconnected findings when delivering ad-hoc internal analysis emphasising key facts and KPIs from different sources, building clear and concise reports with main key takeaways and implications. For that you'll be leveraging Global Vendors & Tools like Mintel, Euromonitor, Global Data while partnering with GCC Always On team on leveraging their Social Listening & other global Tools (e.g. Trendscope, Nielsen, Tastewise)Based on the previous, being responsible for designing, executing, and delivering global insight projects to uncover the consumer needs & jobs to be done against chartered Innovation and Marketing initiatives with a drive to unlock consumer-centric oriented product solutions. It implies:Briefing stage with internal customers, involving clear understanding of the issue to investigate, methodology proposal, selecting vendors and external agencies. Internal alignment and sign-off, analysis phase and presentation of results to senior audiences.Supporting on scoping different projects, including review of methodology, timelines, questionnaires, stimulus and deliverables.If required, conduct consumer & trend immersions, collaborating with research partners on inventive and inspiring experiences and ensuring those learnings are vividly driving live workstreamsEngage in compelling business storytelling to ensure insights inspire strategic decision-making.Develop resight documents from multiple thick & big data streams in support of senior leadership meetings like SDDs, Strategic and AOP plans.Vendor and budget project management (Set up Purchase orders, invoices control)QualificationsExperience & Must-HavesStrong Analytical Skills, expert in the use of data to synthetise into insightful, clear and concise learnings and implications.Story Telling and Communication Skills, being able to develop and present inspiring power point presentations with an appealing storyline in a visually stimulating style.Leadership quality, ability to work across multiple markets. Good influencing and stakeholder management skills required.4+ years of experience at a CPG company, making an impact in a market research/insights/analytics, competitive intelligence or other similar function with demonstrated ability to execute projects in a complex environment with multiple constituencies.University degree BA/BS required (Master is a plus)Advanced Power Point and Excel SkillsHighly motivated, decisive with excellent project management skills.Proven experience of planning and conducting projects achieving goals and objectivesSelf-starter strategic thinker: capable of taking broad questions and open briefs and turning them into a roadmap, outputs and business impact. Able to work autonomously and remotely.Strong experience with use of databases (Nielsen, IRI, Social Listening, etc)Depth and breadth of custom and syndicated research/analytics both in Qualitative and Quantitative techniques.Multicultural and Diverse Team PlayerSkillset to work across functions of Insights, Marketing and external partners.Solution-oriented approach to problem solvingDesirable to have a degree / study in Marketing / Business administration / market research related
