Overview
Sales Manager - to generate new business and maintain strong client relationships in the fit-out and joinery sector. Drive revenue growth, expand the client base, and support the company’s goal of increasing turnover.
Key Duties
* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and bespoke joinery projects.
* Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and interior designers.
* Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations in conjunction with the Estimating Team.
* Maintain an active pipeline of projects using CRM tools and provide accurate sales forecasts.
* Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered.
* Maintain a good working relationship with existing clients by regular communication and customer support – add value beyond the sale.
* Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to raise brand awareness.
* Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
* Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 3–5 years’ proven sales experience in fit-out, joinery, interiors, or construction-related industries.
* Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Established network of industry contacts (advantageous).
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strong business development and client relationship management abilities.
* Knowledge of joinery and fit-out products, materials, and processes.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
