Job Overview
This is an opportunity to lead the financial accounting function of a shared service and manage change within EMEA finance services.
As a director, you will support the company's success by managing the performance and development of a financial reporting shared service team in Galway, Ireland. Your responsibilities will include setting and managing departmental goals, metrics, and objectives based on overall corporate initiatives.
You will also manage the full record-to-report process across assigned portfolios of legal entities, including responsibility for delivering monthly management accounts spanning countries as per corporate calendars. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing processes to ensure strict adherence to statutory reporting and taxation timelines, and developing a roadmap of systems enhancements, process improvements, and integrations across all EMEA FSS functions.
This role requires 10+ years of financial management experience in a multinational public corporation, including at least 5+ years of managerial experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of process improvement delivery within a shared services environment.
