The Corporate Systems Development Team at Millennium is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our central Data Permissioning System. This platform, built on .NET Core and Angular, plays a critical role in provisioning data entitlements across the firm.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with end-users across the organization, ensuring seamless data access for their respective applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining system reliability, resiliency, availability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Innovative Development: Participate in the architecture, design, and development of the platform, delivering creative and efficient solutions.
* Application Development: Build application components, including UI/UX, business services, and reporting solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Expertise:
* Software Development: 8+ years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
* UI Development: 3+ years of experience in Angular, React, or equivalent JavaScript frameworks.
* RESTful Services: Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
* Cross-Platform Development: Hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
* Load Balancing: Expertise in creating custom load balancers for traffic distribution and ensuring high availability.
* Cloud Hosting: Familiarity with hosting applications in AWS (e.g., ElasticCache, Kubernetes) and a working knowledge of Linux OS.
Soft Skills
* Exceptional listening and communication skills (both oral and written).
* A self-starter with a critical-thinking mindset who takes ownership of initiatives.
* Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent self-management and problem-solving skills.
* Quick learner capable of managing multiple streams of work simultaneously.
