Role Overview
As Club Administrator at Project Padel Galway, you will be the first point of contact for our players and members, ensuring smooth daily operations of the centre. You will manage bookings, enquiries, and administration while helping to create a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. This role also involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the centre to enhance the player experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Front Desk
* Greet members and visitors, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
* Handle queries via email, and in person.
* Manage check-ins for court bookings, coaching, and social sessions.
* Support new players with information about padel and centre facilities.
Bookings & Membership Management
* Oversee the online booking system and assist customers with reservations.
* Manage cancellations, reschedules, and credit applications in line with policy.
* Support membership sign-ups, renewals, and enquiries.
* Ensure accurate records of payments and member accounts.
Administration & Coordination
* Prepare schedules for coaching, social play, and events.
* Assist with corporate bookings and group events.
* Handle invoices, receipts, and basic financial reporting.
* Maintain stock records (rackets, balls, rental equipment, refreshments).
* Liaise with coaches and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Facility Upkeep & Cleaning
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment across all areas of the club.
* Carry out light cleaning duties including sweeping courts, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, and sanitising equipment.
* Ensure communal areas (reception, lounge, and café spaces) are kept presentable.
* Oversee the cleanliness and restocking of toilet and shower facilities.
* Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
Community & Events
* Assist in promoting club activities, tournaments, and social sessions.
* Support marketing efforts through email updates, social media posts, and noticeboards.
* Help build a welcoming environment that encourages new players to join and stay active.
Key Skills & Qualities
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Confident with IT systems (experience with booking software is a plus).
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer-focused, approachable, and enthusiastic.
* Reliable with a good standard of personal organisation and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
* Interest in sport/fitness (knowledge of padel is a bonus but not essential).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €14.00 per hour
