Role Purpose Reporting to the Head of Trading this role will play a central part in the delivery our ambitious strategy to remediate and transform the business by developing our data capability and deliver actionable insights. The role is broad in scope encompassing (but not limited to) : Building out fit for purpose Management Information suite, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and displayed using the best tools available to us within Cornmarket. Familiarity with Power BI & Salesforce would be advantageous Continuous monitoring of performance to plan along a broad suite of metrics including business, financial and operational Working collaboratively to develop conversion, retention and propensity modelling allowing us to work effectively with marketing on matching spend to opportunity Identifying then actioning the most effective ways to engage customers and use available technology to bring campaigns to life (Salesforce / Genesys / Applied) Optimising our commission & fee to drive business positive outcomes Developing and preparing trading packs is an essential element of business partner engagement; the successful candidate will develop our capability here and participate in insurer trading meetings Taking control of our Renewal & Recanvas campaigns measuring their effectiveness, prioritising campaigns, identifying high potential segments based on data insights and working with both GI & Health Management to ensure campaigns are resourced and actioned Developing close and collaborative relationships with internally colleagues and external business partners will be essential The role can involve various tasks and responsibilities with occasional ad hoc requests Accountabilities of the Role Support Trading Management to deliver the annual objective setting process Build data pipelines using data analysis techniques to solve business problems Maintain and improve reporting capability in both trading / operations and financials Derive insights from analysis of large internal or external data sets and recommend potential business uses Use these insights to build, measure and enable both GI & Health Recanvas journeys Assist in developing models based on evidential data to assist in forward business planning Review model performances and execute model rebuild and/or adjustments when required Support the monthly production of monitoring processes for allocated classes Work with internal and external counter parts to ensure we learn best practices Build strong relationships with the Insurer panel and provide actionable insights Skills & Knowledge Required Degree Level Education is desirable (Scientific / Analytic or Business would be advantageous) Strong written and verbal skills and ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and to translate business requirements for technical development Strong business process definition capabilities, including the ability to capture process flows visually according to standard methodologies Strong partnering skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment Introductory level to or an interest in developing project management skills in line with the company project methodology Commercial awareness with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a data/analytics role Behavioural Competencies Required Strong critical thinking skills and decision making Ownership & accountability for delivery Building and maintaining relationships Communicating and influencing Planning and organising - an ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize Equal Opportunities & Data Privacy Notice Cornmarket is committed to building an inclusive workplace environment, We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, striving to create a welcoming environment.
