Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: North West Region
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of your designated project. Your role includes ensuring proper management and control of project finances and developing and delivering commercial strategies in line with business requirements. You will work under the guidance of a Contracts Manager or Managing QS.
Your Main Duties:
1. Carry out all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, cost reporting, preparation of interim payments, and settlement of final accounts.
2. Maintain Project Variation Folders, including all Variations.
3. Prepare Internal Subcontractor Payment Certificates.
4. Coordinate with the Kilcawley Project Team as necessary.
5. Review and monitor Project Commercial Plans.
Minimum Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying with some Post Graduate Experience.
* Strong knowledge of Technical Construction Details.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
* Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and IT skills.
* Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
* Proficient in MS Office suite.
* Knowledge of Cubit and Buildsoft software is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
