RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for exceeding customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service, guided by each guest's preferences and cues.
* Demonstrates strong knowledge of our food and drink menu and confidently recommends, upsells, and supports guests' order selections.
* Prepares food and condiments adhering to Outback standards.
* Ensures accurate guest orders to deliver a satisfying experience. Busses tables, delivers food and beverages, and ensures every opportunity to WOW a customer is complete. Teamwork is essential and required by all Outbackers.
* Strong commitment to high standards in food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation.
* Handles cash and credit transactions accurately.
* Supports all areas of the restaurant as needed, reflecting the teamwork expected of every Outbacker.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol.
* Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
* Able to work in hot and cold environments.
* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
* Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.
* Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems.
* Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
* Visual ability to include distance, closeness, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
* Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
* For all California based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
