Directly employing over 100 people, Pinergy's customer base is now over 11,000 commercial and 30,000 domestic customers across a range of renewable energy supply & solutions.Our strategy and continued ambitious growth plans mean that we now have an exciting opportunity within our Solar team for an Energy Consultant.The RoleThe position of Energy Consultant is an integral role in our ambition to scale the Pinergy Solar business following the recent acquisition Pinergy group by the Sojitz Corporation.The acquisition by Sojitz is tangible evidence of our ambition to create a dynamic new model of energy supply in Ireland that is rooted in sustainability and treating energy as a resource rather than a commodity. As a business we are fully aligned with the Climate Action Agenda towards an energy market with 70% renewables.Microgeneration and battery storage together with the electrification of heat and transport are key aspects of a new energy landscape. Pinergy will continue to develop customer centric products and services to assist commercial and domestic customers take an active part in creating a sustainable energy future that we all have a role in creating.Base Location:Enniscorthy Tech Park, Co Wexford for collaboration and meetings but attending surveys across the Munster region.The Role:Working within a current team of 2 other Energy consultants, reporting to the Head of Business Development Solar, target markets include SME's and Large Energy Users on a path to decarbonisation. Our product range includes the market leading battery storage, quality PV modules and car chargers. As a market leader we also have a busy marketing schedule including trade exhibitions, creating enquiries and building an awareness of our brand in the market.The Person:An energetic, personable, honest, and detail-orientated person who is highly self-motivated. Capable of engaging customers and actively selling our products/solutions through a genuine passion for renewables and helping businesses to lower their Carbon footprint. Committed to growing our business and building our brand awareness by imparting our people-centred company values whilst at the same time showing real tenacity in reaching monthly sales targets.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Become an expert with respect to products and solutions in the solar & storage industry. Introducing new products/market developments to prospective clients.Generation of leads through networking & initiative. Engaging customers and actively selling the solution through a passion for renewables and a thorough knowledge of the technology.Finding prospects, preparing presentations, following up on business opportunities and setting meetings.· Achieving set monthly sales targets.Contacting direct enquiries for his / her sales area, gathering information, and conducting desktop surveys. Estimating system size, yield and payback from information provided.Planning weekly site surveys, assessing feasibility, optimal system size and system design, identifying any technical challenges. Recording the necessary level of detail for design/operations.Informing the client on the feasibility of the project and its implementation.Completing a handover to operations for all sales.· Managing communications with clients to optimise customer journey through the sales process up to, handover to operations.· Logging all activity on the CRM system and managing sales pipeline.· Imparting our people-centred company values and building brand awareness.Qualifications & Experience:Proven sales experience with minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B technical sales.Proven track record of selling to C-level executives in SME's and Large Business.Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, self-motivated, customer service and strong communication skills.Bachelor's degree in either technical or business-related subject.
