About the Role
The Chief Procurement Officer is responsible for leading procurement processes, sourcing suppliers and managing inventory. This key role plays a vital part in ensuring a seamless procurement process.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Procurement: Assist in purchasing and coordinating with suppliers to meet business requirements.
* Inventory Management: Manage reorder processes and ensure accurate stock levels.
* Purchase Orders: Prepare and manage purchase orders on time.
* Supplier Negotiation: Support negotiations to secure best value for cost, quality and delivery terms.
* Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance and assist with reviews.
* Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align purchasing needs with business objectives.
Requirements
* Experience: 2–3 years in procurement or supply chain management.
* Education: Qualification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, IIPMM) or currently studying towards one is preferred.
* Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Desirable
* Background in hospitality industry.
