Your New Role
* Manage Site Safety in collaboration with the Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and closure of the safety file as part of the management team.
* Manage Site QA alongside the Mechanical Package Manager, including setup, management, and closure of the QA file.
* Familiarity with and management of project schedules in coordination with other trades, Package Leads, consulting engineers, and client requirements.
* Assist in managing all costs related to your package, including subcontractors, material deliveries, goods receipting, plant, equipment, variations, and valuations.
* Oversee all day-to-day on-site operations.
* Manage subcontractor activities, track progress against schedules and personnel levels, and hold weekly meetings with subcontractors.
* Record direct labor hours and subcontractor hours for centralized tracking.
* Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
* Close out project items such as O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, with support from the Mechanical Package Manager.
* Implement weekly look-aheads to coordinate with other trades.
* Issue weekly internal progress reports highlighting completed work, concerns, and risks such as late deliveries.
* Schedule and track material deliveries to align with the project schedule.
* Maintain a weekly photographic diary of the project.
* Perform all other duties relevant to this role.
What you'll need to succeed
* An engineering qualification or relevant work experience.
* Good computer skills in Word, Excel, etc.
* Proven experience in coordinating and managing large projects.
