BIM Engineer Dublin We are recruiting for a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in Dublin seeking an experienced MEP BIM Engineer.
This is a high-impact role within a digital delivery team, focused on the design and coordination of complex mechanical and electrical systems for Tier 1 projects, including Data Centres, Life Sciences, and large-scale Commercial developments.
Core Responsibilities 3 D Modelling: Develop detailed M&E Revit models from conceptual design through to construction-ready status, ensuring all MEP services are fully integrated.
Coordination & Clash Detection: Lead clash detection processes using Navisworks Manage, resolving technical spatial issues with structural and architectural teams.
Standards Compliance: Ensure all models and digital deliverables adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ISO 19650 standards.
Documentation: Produce high-quality 2 D schematics, sections, and installation drawings extracted directly from the 3 D model environment.
Data Management: Manage project information within Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360).
Technical Support: Assist the project engineering team with technical submittals, equipment schedules, and P&ID integration.
Candidate Profile Education: Degree or Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 36 years of experience in an MEP BIM environment, with a strong track record on Irish or UK-based projects.
Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP is essential.
Strong working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and Auto CAD.
Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements and the ISO 19650 suite.
Communication: Excellent coordination skills with the ability to lead technical meetings and liaise with multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: €55,000 €75,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience and software expertise).
