Takumi Precision Engineering are seeking Head of Purchasing to lead and integrate the purchasing function across two high mix CNC subcontract manufacturing business serving aerospace and medical device customers. This is a hands on leadership role with scope to build a strong purchasing team, drive cost and lead time improvements and shape a strong supply chain strategy.ResponsibilitiesIntegrate and standardise purchasing across two manufacturing sitesManage and develop key suppliers, including performance reviews and risk planningLead supplier negotiations and deliver cost savingOwn the RFQ to PO process and support new product introductionsManage purchasing activity in M1 ERP and track performance using KPIsEnsure suppliers meet aerospace and medical device quality requirementsQualifications and ExperienceExperience in purchasing or supply chain, ideally in CNC / Precision manufacturingStrong commercial and analytical skillsProficient in ERP systems ( M1 Experience an advantage )Familiarity around regulated sectors ( aerospace/medtech )Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred but not essentialFull timeDay shift- 39hrs Monday - FridayMust be eligible to work in IrelandJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
