Medical Laboratory Aide Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Medical Laboratory Aide. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our laboratory team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will assist scientific personnel in providing a laboratory service, working closely with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ideally, you should have experience in specimen reception, checking, sorting, labelling
and entry on to the laboratory information system
* You should be able to present specimens accurately using automated systems;

* You must be competent in operating pre-analytical equipment including maintaining quality control procedures;
This position requires strong communication skills — excellent verbal & written interaction with staff at all levels as well as effective problem-solving abilities when facing unexpected issues during routine work or potential disruptions within day-to-day activities!
The ideal candidate would possess relevant knowledge gained through science qualifications along side minimum level 5 certification/lab skillset (or higher), also preferred training/experience IT programs preferably LIS/LIS platforms !
