My client, a leading commercial law firm in Dublin, is seeking an
Associate Solicitor
to join its renowned
Competition & Regulatory team
. This team advises on cutting-edge competition and EU regulatory matters for both public and private sector clients, helping them navigate a constantly evolving legal landscape shaped by Brussels and European Court decisions.
The Role:
You will work across the full spectrum of competition law, advising on:
* Merger notifications to the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and the European Commission
* Anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance and unfair competition issues
* State aid compliance and litigation before the Irish and European courts
* Cartel and enforcement proceedings, including defending prosecutions brought by the CCPC and DPP
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to some of the most high-profile and complex competition law matters in Ireland. You'll be part of a dynamic team recognised for defending more competition law enforcement cases than any other firm in the market.
About You:
* 2–4 years' post-qualification experience in competition, regulatory or EU law
* Strong understanding of Irish and EU competition law principles
* Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
* Proactive, commercially minded, and confident managing client relationships
