Our client is hiring a Data Centre Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dublin.
This role will require some travel throughout Europe.
Main Responsibilities: You will be responsible in Pre-sale phase and delivery phase of data centre facility integration project.
The role would include travel frequently to Europe (including Trkiye) to support the project.
Support the customer communication and pre-sales project development related to the data centre facility of the representative office, guide the solution based on the customer's data centre construction plan, output design drawings, subcontracting BOQ, and pre-sales cost inquiry and quotation.
Establish data centre subcontracting resources in the local market based on project requirements, support procurement departments in subcontractor selection, technical communication and clarification, and evaluate cost rationality.
After the contract is signed, support the rep office to quickly set up the delivery project team, align the project plan and technical requirements with the customer, third-party design Company, general contractor, and subcontractor, and ensure smooth project delivery.
If necessary, support the delivery on site for a long time.
ATD certification is required for this role.
Requirements: Professional capabilities: Be proficient in data centre facility integration solutions (Electrical, HVAC, EL Eand fire distinguish system, etc.)
and physical product(MV/LV switchgear, transformer, D.G.
UPS, battery, busbar, chiller, AHU, etc.)
skills.
Communication capability: Communicate data centre related topics with customers at the CXO level and DC experts.
Control capabilities: Have the capabilities of managing and controlling opportunities in pre-sales projects, bidding, delivery assurance in post-sales projects, and risk identification.
Be proficient in the design, construction European specifications and standards of the power supply and distribution industry and HVAC industry.
Be familiar with policies related to data centre energy saving, and have a deep understanding of the definition, calculation, and measurement of data centre energy saving indicators (such as PUE).
Have good understanding of data centre standards and specifications such as EU requirements, Uptime Institute Tier,etc..
