Roscommon is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team, reporting to the group Head of Finance.

This is a permanent position working Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm.
Your new job Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and invoice processing.
Monitor debtor accounts and support collections with the sales team.
Log purchase invoices, reconcile creditors' ledgers, and balance bank records.
Maintain accurate records for audits, compliance, and reporting.
Prepare monthly financial reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Assist in financial forecasting and reporting.
Support tax compliance and liaise with auditors.
Utilise accounting systems for efficient data entry and reporting.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with teams to align financial processes with business goals.
What are we looking for? Accounting Technician qualification or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIMA).
At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
Proficiency in accounting software (Intact, Sage), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
